Ajeet Kumar Sahu, born on June 10, 1974, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2003 batch from the AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in Ancient History and an M.A. in Development Studies from the University of Sussex. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, New Delhi, since July 18, 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Commissioner & Secretary, Secretary, Director, Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
