Ajay Yadav, born on 31 December 1976, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2005 Bihar cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Prohibition Excise and Registration Department, Bihar, a position he assumed on 28 April 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Joint Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, Private Secretary to Minister of State, Chief Executive Officer, Mission Director, Project Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Special Officer, Sub Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
