Ajay Tewari, an IAS officer of the 1993 batch from the Assam Meghalaya cadre, is currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary at the Home & Political Department and Mines & Minerals Department. He holds a B.Tech. from IIT Kanpur and a PG Diploma from IGNOU Delhi. Fluent in Assamese, Bengali, English, and Hindi, Tewari was born on 05/08/1970.
