Ajay Singh Tomer, born on 24 August 1982, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2012 Haryana cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Commissioner at Ambala since 31 January 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Special Secretary, Deputy Commissioner Cum District Magistrate, CEO, Director, Administrator, Municipal Commissioner, Additional Secretary, ADC Cum CEO, Commissioner, Sub Divisional Officer, Estate Officer, Assistant Collector, and Executive Magistrate. He received an award for making Sirsa district Open Defecation Free under the SBM campaign. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
