Ajay Nath, born on 10 September 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree and postgraduate qualification in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including SDO/SDM, Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Chief Vigilance Officer, Director, Director General (Investigation & Registration), Secretary to Governor, Commissioner, Managing Director, Technical Assistant, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, CEO, Additional Collector, and Administrator. His most recent position was Chairman at Madhya Pradesh from 8 April 2013 to 30 September 2015 in the Department of Finance.
