Ajay Kumar Gupta, born on April 12, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Kerala cadre. He holds a Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a Diploma in Energy Planning. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary, Director, Additional Secretary, Secretary, and Chief Vigilance Officer. His most recent position was Chief Vigilance Officer at the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, from February 21, 2013, to March 20, 2016.
