Ajay Jain, born on 30 July 1966, is a 1991 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree and is proficient in English and Hindi. Currently, he serves as the Special Chief Secretary at Velagapudi in the Housing Department since 9 March 2021. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Chairman & Managing Director, Managing Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Collector, Project Director, and Sub-Divisional Officer. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
