Ajay Chagti, born on 18 September 1965, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2010 batch of the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.E. and an M.B.A. from Punjab University, Chandigarh. During his career, he served as Secretary at Chandigarh in the Personnel Department. His past roles include Secretary, OSD to Chief Secretary Director, Staff Officer to Chief Secretary Director Equivalent, and Special Secretary. He was honored with the National Award for e-Governance in 2013-14 for the innovative use of GIS technology in the Delhi State Spatial Data Infrastructure (DSSDI) project.
