Ajay Chagti, born on 18 September 1965, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2010 batch of the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.E. and an M.B.A. from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary at Chandigarh, Secretary in the Personnel Department, OSD to Chief Secretary Director, Staff Officer to Chief Secretary Director Equivalent, and Special Secretary. He was honored with the National Award for e-Governance in 2013-14 for the innovative use of GIS technology in the Delhi State Spatial Data Infrastructure project.
