Ajay Bhadoo, born on 11 February 1971, is a 1999 batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre. He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Laws from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Currently, he serves as Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi since 6 August 2024. His previous roles include Deputy Election Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Municipal Commissioner, Vice Chairman & CEO, Principal Secretary, Secretary to the Chief Minister, District Collector, District Development Officer, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
