Abhyankar Ameya Ajit, born on 16 October 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2007 batch, assigned to the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.A. in Arts and an M.A. in Politics from Pune University. Currently serving as Director at the Cabinet Secretariat in New Delhi since December 1, 2020, he has previously held positions including Deputy Secretary, Secretary, Director, and Deputy Commissioner. Proficient in English and Marathi, Abhyankar continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
