Abhishek Singh, born on July 1, 1971, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Nagaland cadre. He holds a B.Tech and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and a postgraduate degree in Public Administration from Harvard University. Currently, he serves as the Director General at the National Testing Agency, Department of Higher Education, New Delhi since March 31, 2026. His extensive career includes roles such as Chief Executive Officer, Secretary, Commissioner, Executive Director (IT), Private Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, Secretary to Governor, Deputy Commissioner, District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, and Member Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
