Abhishek Prakash, born on November 21, 1982, is a 2006 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics and is proficient in English and Hindi. Currently serving as Secretary in the General Administration Department of Uttar Pradesh since March 16, 2026, he has held various positions including District Magistrate, Director, Managing Director, Special Secretary, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Sub Divisional Officer, and District Collector and Magistrate. His service record also includes a period of suspension attached to the Board of Revenue, UP. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
