Abhishek Kumar Tiwary, born on 19 April 1984, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2012 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Currently, he serves as the District Magistrate of South 24 Parganas since 19 March 2026. His previous roles include Assistant Collector, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, Municipal Commissioner, Additional District Magistrate, Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Sub Divisional Officer. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Bengali. Mr. Tiwary continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
