Abhishek Jain, born on 04/12/1977, is a 2002 batch IAS officer of the Himachal Pradesh cadre. Currently serving as Secretary at Shimla since 20/08/2024, he has held multiple key positions including Secretary to the Chief Minister and various secretarial and directorial roles. His departmental experience spans PWD, Finance, Planning, Economics and Statistics, and the 20 Point Programme. He holds an Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy, a Master of International Development Policy from Duke University, and a MicroMasters in Development from MIT.
