Abhishek Jain, born on December 4, 1977, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2002 batch, assigned to the Himachal Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Com from GNDU Amritsar, an M.A. from Punjab University Chandigarh, and a Postgraduate Diploma from IGNOU Delhi. Fluent in English, French, Hindi, and Punjabi, he has served in departments including Public Works, Finance, Planning, Economics and Statistics, and the 20 Point Programme. Since August 20, 2024, he has been serving as Secretary at Shimla. He continues to be an active member of the IAS.
