Abhijit Sudhakar Bangar, born on 28 April 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2008 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.A. from Pune University and an M.A. from the Gokhale Institute. Currently, he serves as the Additional Municipal Commissioner (Project) at Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Mumbai, a position he assumed on 4 June 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Municipal Commissioner, Additional Divisional Commissioner, Collector, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Electoral Officer. He is proficient in English and Marathi and continues to serve in the Maharashtra cadre.
