Abhijit Rajendra Raut, born on October 1, 1988, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2013 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Biochemistry from Pune Vidya Pratisthans and an M.Sc. in Biochemistry from IIT Roorkee. Currently serving as Joint Commissioner in the State Tax department of Maharashtra since February 7, 2025, he has previously held positions including Assistant Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Collector. Proficient in English and Marathi, Abhijit continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
