Abhay Kumar Singh, born on September 2, 1977, is a 2004 batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre. He holds a B.E. in Computer Science. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Food and Consumer Protection Department, Bihar, a position he has held since December 10, 2025. His past roles include Assistant Collector, Executive Director, Officer on Special Duty, Sub-Divisional Officer, Joint Secretary, Personal Secretary to Minister, Director, Additional Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Project Director, and Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
