Commissioner, Land Revenue Department- Director of Census Operations
Abdul Q Farrqi, born on 15 July 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in English Literature and a postgraduate degree in Modern Indian History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Director, Special Secretary, Vice Chairman, District Magistrate, and Regional Food Controller. His most recent designation was Commissioner from 15 June 2004 to 31 July 2004. He also served as Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department before retirement.
