Dr. A W Paul David, born on April 28, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1966 Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mathematics, a Ph.D. in Commerce, and a postgraduate degree in Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary, Managing Director, Commissioner, Secretary, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, District Collector, and District Development Officer. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary at New Delhi from April 1, 2001, to April 30, 2002, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
