A Vidya Sagar, born on 30 January 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.A. in Economics and a graduate degree. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Project Director, Deputy Secretary, Joint Collector, Additional Commissioner, Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner, Administrator, Commissioner & Director of Sugar Cane, Special Commissioner, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Special Chief Secretary in the Tribal Welfare Department, held from 27 January 2016 to 31 January 2016.
