A Vani Prasad, born on 10 February 1967, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Telangana cadre. She holds an M.A. degree and is proficient in English and Telugu. Throughout her career, she has served in various capacities including Joint Collector, Secretary, Commissioner, CEO, District Collector and Magistrate, Special Officer, and Special Chief Secretary. Currently, she is on Child Care Leave since 17 March 2025. She continues to be an active member of the Indian Administrative Service.
