A Sukumaran, born on 17 September 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Tamil Nadu cadre. Throughout his career, he held various positions including Deputy Secretary, Additional Director, Managing Director, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Director, Additional Secretary Director, Commissioner Director, and Commissioner and Managing Director. His most recent role was Commissioner and Director in the Survey Settlement and Land Records department from 18 October 2010 to 30 September 2011. Mr. Sukumaran served with dedication across multiple administrative roles before retiring from service.
