A Santhosh Mathew, born on 22 February 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Bihar cadre. He holds a Graduate degree in Economics, an M.A. in Economics, and an M.Sc. in Development Studies from the University of Sussex. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Adviser, Project Director, Executive Director, Registrar, Director, Deputy Commissioner Cum District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Development Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Chairperson of the School Education and Literacy Department from 23 January 2017 to 24 October 2017.
