A R Dalwai, born on March 22, 1941, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Private Secretary, Deputy Collector, Deputy Secretary, Additional Collector, Additional Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer. His most recent designation was Secretary at Maharashtra in the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. Dalwai's extensive service reflects his long-standing commitment to public administration within the Maharashtra cadre.
