A N Safeena, born on 27 May 1968, is a 1997 batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre. Currently serving as Divisional Commissioner at Magadh Division, Bihar since 14 April 2025, she holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in Agriculture from Kerala Agricultural University and an M.B.L. in Banking and Financial Institutions from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Her extensive career includes roles such as Assistant Magistrate, Principal Secretary to Government, Development Commissioner, Special Secretary, District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, and Additional Secretary. She is proficient in Hindi and Malayalam and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
