A K Sharma, born on April 30, 1934, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch of the Bihar cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science and a graduate degree in Economics. During his career, Sharma served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and Additional Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Department of Rural Development from April 1, 1990, to April 1, 1992.
