A K Roy, born on 01/02/1934, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch of the West Bengal cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Commerce. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub Divisional Officer, Junior Scale, Deputy Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, Additional Executive Officer, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Secretary in the Finance Department from 01/07/1989 to 01/01/1992. Mr. Roy's extensive service reflects a dedicated tenure in administrative roles within the Indian government.
