A K Phukan, born on February 1, 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1968 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Sub-Divisional Officer, Assistant Collector, General Manager, CEO, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Deputy Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department of Maharashtra.
