A K Nigam, born on 15 June 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch of the Gujarat cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Managing Director, Special Commissioner, District Collector, Secretary, Deputy Chairman, Designer I/C, Secretary to Governor, Deputy Secretary, Director, and District Development Officer. His most recent position was Secretary at Gujarat from 3 September 2003 to 30 June 2004. He was associated with the Department of Ports, Shipping and Waterways during his service. Nigam's career reflects extensive administrative experience across multiple roles within the Gujarat cadre.
