A K Muthally, born on August 11, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1966 batch of the Gujarat cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Director, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and notably as Commissioner at Delhi from March 1, 1999, to August 31, 2002. His extensive administrative experience spans multiple senior roles within the government before his retirement.
