Dr. A K Dua, born on 15 July 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1971 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics, along with graduate and postgraduate degrees in the same field. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Director General, Special Commissioner, Vice Chairperson, Municipal Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, District Collector, and Joint Secretary. His most recent designation was Adviser at Maharashtra in the Commerce and Industry Department. Dr. Dua's extensive experience spans multiple administrative roles across state government departments.
