A Jayathilak, born on 16 June 1966, is a 1991 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Kerala cadre. He holds an M.A. from Annamalai University and an M.D. Currently, he serves as the Chief Secretary of Kerala since 23 April 2025. Throughout his career, he has held numerous positions including Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Chairman, Secretary, Director, Executive Director, Commissioner, Special Officer, Special Secretary, District Collector, Project Director, Additional Collector, Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Managing Director, Under Secretary, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Malayalam and remains in active service.
