A J Shukla, born on 26 November 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Gujarat cadre. Throughout his career, he held various positions including Executive Director, Registrar, Deputy Secretary, Managing Director, District Collector, and District Development Officer. His most recent role was Principal Secretary to the Governor at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, serving from 21 March 2001 to 30 November 2007.
