A Gnanasekaran, born on 21 December 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Applied Physics from the University of Madras. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Registrar, District Collector, and Director. His most recent position was Commissioner of the Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Department, from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022.
