A Ajith Kumar, born on 30 May 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1994 Kerala cadre. He holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration and a degree in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Chairman, Secretary to Governor, Managing Director, Special Secretary to Governor, Additional Secretary, Commissioner, Private Secretary, Director, and District Collector. His most recent role was Executive Director at the Rubber Board in Kottayam, Kerala, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry from December 2016 to November 2017.
