(Smt.) Pratima Satish Kumar, born on 27 August 1976, is a 2002 batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre. She holds an M.B.B.S. degree and is proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi. Currently, she serves as Secretary in the Science, Technology and Technical Education Department, Bihar, a position she assumed on 31 August 2024. Her extensive career includes roles such as Sub-Divisional Officer, Managing Director, Commissioner Cum Secretary, Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Additional Mission Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, and Deputy Development Commissioner. She continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
