Maharashtra Government Transfers Three IAS Officers; Shaila A Appointed Textile Secretary

Prerna Deshbhratar to head MSME and MSSIDC, while Vikas Pansare takes charge as Director of Tourism in the latest bureaucratic reshuffle

The Maharashtra Government on Tuesday issued transfer orders for three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, assigning them to key positions across the Textile, MSME and Tourism departments.

Senior IAS officer Shaila A (2003 batch) has been transferred from the post of Secretary and Development Commissioner, Planning Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, and appointed as Secretary (Textile) in the Co-operation, Marketing and Textile Department at Mantralaya.

Prerna Deshbhratar (2010 batch), who was serving as Commissioner, Fisheries, Mumbai, has been posted as Commissioner, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and Managing Director, Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (MSSIDC), Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Vikas Pansare (SCS:2014) has been shifted from the post of Managing Director, MSSIDC, Mumbai, and appointed as Director of Tourism, Mumbai.
