Haryana IAS Ajay Singh Tomer Appointed Director in Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare

 to an official order issued by the Office of the Establishment Officer, the Competent Authority has cleared Tomer’s appointment for a period of five years from the date he assumes charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The DoPT has requested the Government of Haryana to relieve the officer immediately so that he can assume his new responsibilities in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, New Delhi.

The order further reiterates the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) guidelines, which require officers appointed under the Central Staffing Scheme to join their new assignment within three weeks of the issuance of the appointment order. Failure to do so may lead to the initiation of debarment proceedings under the Central Staffing Scheme.
