ACC Clears 20 Senior Bureaucratic Appointments at Joint Secretary Level
Senior officers posted across Finance, Agriculture, Atomic Energy, Housing & Urban Affairs, NITI Aayog and other key ministries in a major administrative reshuffle

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Friday approved the appointment of 20 officers to Joint Secretary and Joint Secretary-equivalent positions across the Government of India.
The reshuffle includes key postings in the Departments of Financial Services, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Atomic Energy, Consumer Affairs, Fisheries, Investment & Public Asset Management, Housing & Urban Affairs, and Social Justice & Empowerment, among others.
The appointments also include JS-level positions in NITI Aayog, NDMA, LBSNAA, FIU-IND, Food Corporation of India, the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), and the National Handicapped Finance & Development Corporation (NHFDC). Most appointments are for fixed tenures of five years or until further orders, as specified in the ACC notification.
