PM Approves Appointment Of Two Full-Time Members Of NITI Aayog

The appointment of R. Balasubramaniam and Joram Aniya as full-time members to NITI Aayog has been approved by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As full-time members, they bring expertise in grassroots development and tribal knowledge systems.
Meanwhile, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved the extension of the Central deputation tenure of Dr. Ashish Vachhani, Additional Secretary, Prime Minister's Office (PMO), for a period of two years beyond 23.05.2026 or until further notice, whichever is earlier.
The ACC has also granted one-year extensions to two Directors in the PMO. The tenure of Parthiban P. (IAS) has been extended beyond June 25, 2026, while the tenure of Amrit Agrahari (IRS) has been extended beyond July 9, 2026.
