IAS Officer Ravi Mittal Appointed Deputy Secretary In The Prime Minister's Office

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Ravi Mittal as the Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), for a tenure of four years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders. 

Ravi Mittal is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Chhattisgarh batch (2016 batch). 

Mittal was serving as the Commissioner, Public Relations Department, Chhattisgarh government. He completed an MBBS in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Delhi and holds an MA in Public Management from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

The appointment is part of routine administrative placements aimed at strengthening the functioning of the PMO.
