Surendra Singh, born on 15 August 1978, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2005 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Geology. Currently, he serves as Secretary to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh since 6 October 2025. His previous roles include Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Vice Chancellor, Divisional Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Mission Director Junior Administrative Grade, and various Special Secretary positions. He has received the National Award in 2012 for Best Electoral Practices and an award for effective initiatives under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA (2009-11). He is proficient in English and Hindi.
