Shailesh Kumar Chourasia, born on 22 March 1974, is a 2007 batch IAS officer of the Manipur cadre. He holds a B.A. and M.A. from Patna University and an M.Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Power Department of Manipur, a position he has held since 6 December 2022. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Manipuri, Mr. Chourasia continues to contribute to the administration of Manipur. He is an active officer currently in service.
