Santosh Kumar, born on 29 July 1971, is a 1994 batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and M.Tech. from IIT Kanpur and an M.I.D.P. from Duke University. Currently serving as Principal Secretary and OSD at Mumbai since 31 December 2023, he is part of the Appeals, Revenue and Forest Department. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Managing Director, Member Secretary, Director, Commissioner, and Joint Secretary (Finance). He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi. Santosh Kumar continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
