Krishna Kumar, born on July 16, 1967, is an IAS officer of the 2010 batch from the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Secretary in the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Rural Development, New Delhi, a position he has held since March 24, 2026. His previous roles include Secretary and Special Secretary. Krishna Kumar is an active officer in service.
