Amod Kumar, born on 25 July 1971, is a retired IAS officer from the 1995 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Magistrate, District Collector and Magistrate, Special Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, New Delhi. He received multiple awards such as the National e-Governance Awards (Golden Icon), Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration (2008), and recognition as one of India’s ten changemakers. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
