Mrinalini Darswal, an IAS officer of the 2002 batch from the Odisha cadre, was born on July 12, 1974. She holds an M.B.B.S. degree and is proficient in Dogri, English, Hindi, and Odia. Currently, she serves as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Government in the Women and Child Development Department, Odisha, a position she has held since February 6, 2026. Her past roles include Special Resident Commissioner, Additional Resident Commissioner, Special Secretary, Special Commissioner, Project Director, Additional Director, Director, Joint Secretary, and District Collector and Magistrate. She continues to serve in the Odisha government.
