Vipul Aggarwal's tenure extended as Principal Commissioner, DDA

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved a two-year extension for Vipul Aggarwal, as proposed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs

Vipul Aggarwal, a 2001-batch IPS officer from the Gujarat cadre, has been given extension as Principal Commissioner of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) as proposed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Previously serving as Joint Secretary in the Health Ministry since July 2023, he also played a key role as Deputy CEO of the National Health Authority (2020-2022), shaping the Ayushman Bharat scheme for 540 million Indians. A Harvard-trained public health expert with a Ph.D., Aggarwal has contributed extensively to policy research and healthcare reforms.
