Prasad now returns to the Home Department as Principal Secretary and will oversee critical portfolios like Home, Confidentiality, Visa, Passport, and Vigilance.

Deepak Kumar, 2000-batch IAS officer, has been relieved from his job as Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Visa, Passport and Vigilance Department, He has now been given additional charge of the post of the Principal Secretary, Basic Education Department of the state.

Another senior IAS officer of 1991-batch L Venkateswarlu will now handle the additional charge of the post of Principal Secretary of Social Welfare and Sainik Welfare Department, Tribal Development, Managing Director, UP CIDCO, Director, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Research and Training Institute and Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Research and Training Institute, along with his current post.

BL Meena, an IAS officer of 1991-batch, has been relieved from the charge of Principal Secretary of the Home Guard, but he will continue to be Principal Secretary of Horticulture, Silk, and Food Processing.

Rajesh Kumar Singh has been Appointed Principal Secretary (Home Guard) after a three-month waiting period and Alok Kumar will take charge of Principal Secretary (Infrastructure and Industrial Development), leaving behind Handloom and Textile portfolios.

IAS officer of 1992-batch Narendra Bhooshan has been assigned the post of Principal Secretary (Panchayati Raj) while continuing with Intellectual Education responsibilities. And 1993-batch IAS officer Veena Kumari Meena was relieved from Principal Secretary (AYUSH Department) duties.

Anil Garg (1996 batch) retains multiple roles, including Principal Secretary (Irrigation and Water Resources), while being relieved as State Nodal Officer for the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana.

Anil Kumar Sagar (1998 batch) has been appointed the Principal Secretary (Handloom and Textiles) after his removal as Principal Secretary (Industrial Development) and Anuj Kumar Jha (2009 batch) has been promoted to Secretary and will continue as Director (Local Bodies Department), as S Chaudhary has been appointed as Secretary (PWD).

Mala Srivastava has been assigned the post of the Secretary, along with her role as Director (Geology and Mining) and Vaibhav Srivastava is transitioned to the Secretary (Home) from his position as Special Secretary (Home).

Ajit Kumar has been promoted to Secretary (Agriculture), previously Special Secretary (Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch) and Atal Kumar Rai will take the dual responsibility as Director and Secretary (Panchayati Raj).
