Union Coal Secretary Amrit Lal Meena Is Set To Take Over As Bihar Chief Secretary

Amrit Lal Meena is 1989 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre. He will succeed his batchmate Brajesh Mehrotra, whose term as the Chief Secretary is ending on August 31st.

Incidentally, Bihar has also got new DGP of state, as the state appointed Alok Raj, 1989 batch IPS officer, as the new DGP in place of Rajwinder Singh Bhatti, who was recently appointed as the Director General of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), a special force under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
